Australian Migration - substantial changes on the way

Current debate and discussion is underway relating to changes to Australian migration policy.

It would appear that the bulk of the changes will benefit people who have a high level of education and English ability, as well as substantial work experience.

None of the changes that are being mooted at present (and discussed on the DIAC website) are in force.

We will not be drawn into discussion around the intended changes to the points system until all the clauses have been legislated by the Australian government in July 2011.
