Western Australia - State Migration Plans

The State of Western Australia have also released their latest State Migration Plans - please contact IIA for an update on your eligibility to apply to this state for State sponsorship.

Queensland State Migration Plans released today

The State of Queensland have released their SMP and list of occupations that they will consider sponsoring under the Subclass 176 (State sponsored). Clients wishing to evaluate their eligibility to apply for sponsorship to this State, should contact IIA as soon as possible.

Changes to United Kingdom migration

The UK government has announced the closure of the Tier 1 General migrant category (formerly known as the Highly Skilled Migrant Programme) - with effect from the beginning of April 2011.

Anyone who believes they are eligible to apply under this category should start the process as soon as possible, otherwise they will not have this option in the future.
